John H. Foard III

John H. Foard III is the President and Founder of Foard Wealth Management, LLC. His diverse background and training enables him to help clients pursue their long-term financial goals through comprehensive, individualized financial planning. Whether it’s planning for retirement or college expenses, building enduring relationships and helping people is truly John’s passion.


Bringing 16 years of experience, John has developed a comprehensive, client-focused approach to financial planning anchored in mutual respect and trust with the individuals, families, and business owners he works with. So much so, John serves clients in a fiduciary capacity, which means he puts clients’ interests first. John is also a sought after expert by national media outlets such as US News & World Report.


Originally from Concord, NC, John now currently lives in the Ballantyne Area of Charlotte with his wife of 15 years and 3 beautiful daughters. In addition to cheering on his favorite Carolina teams throughout the year, John also enjoys watching his daughter’s lacrosse games, playing tennis and golf, and spending quality time with his family.


Another life passion of John’s is finding a cure for Rett syndrome, which is a unique developmental disorder that his daughter Ella suffers from. He is the Treasurer/Member of the Board of Trustees of as well as founder of The Ella Foard Foundation for Rett Syndrome
